Congratulate me

I think I just got a few years off purgatory. After all I sat (or stood) through Our God Reigns and Here I Am Lord (as the responsorial psalm).

There were two other execrable ditties I've blotted out of my mind, the hand-clapping Gloria (without the hand-clapping) and a really bad, over-augmented translation of the Sanctus set to The Skye Boat Song.

Will be passing through the city on a sunday soon. Do you recommend the 10.30 or the Noon Mass in Garnethill?

Look on it as the penance before your Confession . . . . . .

Oops! Hear I Am Lord - may have been a Mass for the deaf. Certainly felt like it.

Anon - definitely 12 noon @St Aloysius - great choir; mostly sung Latin.

A few years off, a few years on, who knows? Depends how the Good Lord will look at it. Did you bear it all in charity, offer it up for some poor soul in purgatory and then never mention your trial to a single soul?

St Peter.

I tried all those things.

My good fellow, I'm glad (and relieved, actually) to hear that you tried. If you die of perseverence, my son, I'll let you in through these 'ere pearly gates.

See ya then!

Caro Pietro

Thank you. But as you well know I will have a long stretch in purgatory.
