Te Deum

My son's biopsy results came back last night and he does not have the progressive, life-threatening illness we (and his consultant) feared he had. He still has some tests but does not have to go onto unpleasant medication.

Thanks be to Almighty God, and to his saints who prayed for us - especially John Henry Newman & St Therese. Thank you to all you who prayed for him.

God bless you all. Holy Mass will be offered for your intentions and in thanksgiving.

A weight is lifted from us.

"For the yoke of their burden, and the rod of their shoulder, and the sceptre of their oppressor thou best overcome, as in the day of Median." Isaiah 9:4

So glad to hear the good news and wonderful choice of the Te Deum. Hearing the bells in the background, I wondered if the ban on pealing bells at Catholic churches in the UK still exists in law.
