Diary Date: Plainsong and Polyphony Weekend

As part of the Archdiocese of Glasgow's Lentfest, Dr James MacMillan and Fr Gerard Byrne are hosting a Plainsong and Polyphony Weekend:

Scotland’s world-famous classical composer, James MacMillan, and director of the Schola Glasguesis, Father Gerard Byrne are offering enthusiastic people the chance to join them in a weekend of plainchant, part-singing and polyphony as they prepare Solemn Vespers for the 5th Sunday of Lent in the beautiful church of St Patrick’s, Anderston.

Saturday 28th March at 11am – 4.30pm*: Preparation of special chant, part-singing and polyphony.
Sunday 29th March at 5.30pm**: Rehearsal for Solemn Vespers
Culminating in Solemn Vespers for 5th Sunday of Lent
with Archbishop Mario Conti
at 7.00pm on Sunday 29th March in St Patrick’s, Anderston
